My name is Laura Plaza. I'm 23 years old. I live in Casasimarro, a small village in Cuenca. It has about 3.500 residents. I live with my parents and my little sister. Her name is Marta and she's studying 2nd year of high school.
I really like my village because it is very peaceful. It has a school, a high school, a medical center, a lot of shops and pubs, differents churches... It's a complete village. In addition, my village is near Albacete and Cuenca, and you can go whenever you want, for example shopping or going to the cinema.
My dream has always been to work as a teacher and this is why I have studied child teaching during four years at Albacete University. I've known really nice people. I finished my degree last June and I'm very proud of myself for having achieved my dream.
I really enjoy working with children because I love being able to teach them new things, like writing, reading... is wonderful. For this reason, nowadays I'm styding this superior grade. Now, in addition, I'm preparing to pass several public competitive exams in June 2019 to get a job as a teacher but I'm sure I'll get it.
I'm studying English because in my opinion, speaking other languages is very important to work as a teacher. Today bilingualism has become one of the most important thing in Education. Children begin to learn English since they are very young and teachers must be prepared. I have a B1 certificate of Cambridge in English, and now I'm studying for my B2 certificate of Trinity. I will take the exam in June. If I want to work in a school, I will need the B2 certificate.
I also work as a particular teacher. I work in the evenings, from monday to friday. I have sixteen pupils. I teach any subject, specially English. I teach it through games and it's really fun for children.
